Frequently Asked Questions

Attalon partners with Ethico, a trusted third-party vendor, to provide a confidential, web-based reporting platform. This tool (e.g. MyComplianceReport) empowers all Attalon employees to securely report concerns related to fraud, abuse, misconduct, or unethical behavior, fostering a safe and respectful workplace environment.

No, emergencies should not be reported through MyComplianceReport. Emergencies require immediate action and should be handled by following your site’s established emergency protocols.

For example:

  • For medical emergencies: Contact your local emergency services (e.g., 911) or follow Attalon’s procedures for rapid response.
  • For safety hazards or urgent threats: Notify your supervisor or follow your site-specific safety protocols.

MyComplianceReport is designed for reporting non-urgent concerns related to misconduct, unethical behavior, or policy violations. While these matters are important, they are not intended to replace emergency response processes.

You can submit a report either:

  • Online: Through the secure My Compliance Report web portal, or
  • By Phone: By calling Ethico’s 24/7 hotline at (866-555-5555).

Both channels are available any time, day or night.

  • Names of witnesses or others with relevant knowledge

Reporting helps Attalon maintain high standards of integrity and ensures a safe, compliant, and ethical workplace. By reporting potential misconduct, you play a vital role in identifying and addressing unsafe practices or policy violations.

Unchecked violations can harm not only those directly involved but also the organization at large—potentially leading to serious consequences, such as legal action or loss of trust. All reports are reviewed thoroughly, and appropriate steps are taken to resolve issues, including disciplinary action when necessary.

Reports are stored securely on Ethico’s confidential servers. Only a small, trained team within Attalon’s Human Resources (HR) and Security departments has access to review and investigate reports. All matters are handled discreetly and shared only on a “need-to-know” basis.

You can follow up on your report at any time, either:

  • Online: Use the original case number and passcode provided at the time of submission to check the status.
  • By Phone: Call Ethico’s hotline and provide your case number, along with key details from your original report for verification.

Once your report is submitted, it is securely received by Attalon’s HR team. The team reviews the report to assess the nature of the concern, its potential impact, and the next steps for investigation.

If you provided sufficient information, the compliance team will initiate a formal review or investigation. If additional details are needed, they may reach out through the secure case management platform or hotline (if anonymity allows).

Updates are typically only provided if additional information is required from you. Investigations are conducted confidentially, and updates about specific corrective actions or outcomes may not always be shared. However, you are welcome to check the status of your report using your case number and passcode

The length of an investigation depends on several factors, including:

  • The complexity of the issue
  • The number of parties and witnesses involved
  • The availability of relevant documents or evidence
  • The urgency of the matter

While every effort is made to resolve investigations promptly, more complex cases may require additional time to ensure a thorough and fair review.

After the investigation, Human Resources documents its findings and makes recommendations for resolution. If the allegations are substantiated and or is confirmed, appropriate corrective actions may be taken. These actions could include:

  • Policy updates or process changes
  • Training or education for involved parties
  • Disciplinary measures, up to and including termination, if warranted

The investigation process ensures:

  • Reports are handled consistently, fairly, and thoroughly
  • Company policies, laws, and ethical standards are upheld
  • A safe, respectful, and compliant workplace environment is maintained

Your willingness to report concerns helps protect the organization and its employees, fostering trust and accountability throughout the workplace.  Thank you for “Reporting It!
